Idea
Watch the last finished candle—sCloseagainst a recent window of highs and lows (about 20 candles, starting one candle before the Close so the Close is not measuring itself).
- Buy— Close just brokeabove the recent highest High.
- Sell— Close just brokebelow the recent lowest Low.
- Exit buys— Close just broke backbelow that High.
- Exit sells— Close just broke backabove that Low.
No indicators — both sides use theCandlestab in simple mode.
Two ways to write the same event
This Learn shows one breakout idea written two ways. The meaning is the same; only the writing style changes.
1) Cross — short form (—just crossed—)
BuyandExit buysuse one condition withCross UporCross Down. Think of Cross as: the Close just crossedthe level on this bar (it was on the other side before, and is on this side now).
2) Expanded AND — two comparisons
SellandExit sellswrite thesameCross idea as two leaves joined withAND (All):
- One leaf checks thepreviousbar — Close was still on one side of the Low (for example = Low, or = Low).
- The other leaf checksnow— Close is on the other side (for example < Low, or > Low).
So:was on one side before AND is on the other side now= the long form of Cross. Open this preset in Save/Load and compare Buy (short) next to Sell (expanded).
